As Sales Manager responsible for the commercial relations with the key clients(DIY hypermarkets), i learnt, each step of my activity, that i have to improve the communication and negotiations skills daily in order to keep up the pace. So i did it and practice everytime i have the occasion.
Responsible for coordinating a team of 10 people on the whole Romanian territory, i had to understand the similarities and also differences between them, their way of working, and find ways to motivate, punish them or improve their results and ask them clearly what i want from them. I had to fire people and it was not easy, but in time i got used to the idea that the weak pieces in a team must be laid off.
Challenges were every month, to increase the turnover, to get new clients, to let go the inefficient partnerships, to make decisions that affects on long term, the future.
My ambition never left me, my belief that i can make a change in the company, in the activity and procedures was always intact and kept me going even if when things weren't looking well. I am aware that, in whatever company i will be, i will add value, i will come up with experience, ability to listen, to ask the right questions, to read between the lines, to discover the cause of the problems and try to repair that cause instead of repairing the effect,like most people do, I will bring results and be a good motivation factor.
I am looking strongly to enlarge my limits, to develop my skills, to find new ways to increase my efficiency and i am searching for the company where i will be for another 5 years at least(with vision, coherent business strategy, human resources policy that allows employees to grow and develop within it, with open minded management team, innovative thinking and ways to do business, international exposure and the feeling that all work as a strong team).
